I was inspired to write this blog by the whining of Muslims in the West over petty grievances and minor inconveniences. Having read about many cases of Christians in the Muslim world suffering violence, torture, murder and other types of severe persecution my reaction was one of indignation.
I am older and wiser now than when I wrote the above comments. It is the Islamists who aremaking these complains and they think they have a win-win situation. Their intended audience is other Muslims.If their complaints are ignored they say "Look, Western society rejects your values and ignores your needs. Join us instead." If on the other handtheir demands are pandered too, they say "We have made the kuffar (unbelievers) respect Islam."
Some of the events that are reported here can only be described as horrific. However, the last thing I want to do is create feelings of anger or hatred towards Muslims.
Therefore, can I ask you to read this post and to remember that it is only a very small minority of Muslims who persecute member of other faiths
